Levels of Play

Levels of Play 2026/2027

Ringette teams are formed based on the age of the player. The teams are as follows for the 2026-2027 season:

U8 (FUN2): 8 yrs & under (born 2019 and younger)
U10 (FUN 3): 10 yrs & under (born 2017-2018)
U12: 12 yrs & under (born 2015-2016)
U14: 14 yrs & under (born 2013-2012)
U16: 16 yrs & under (born 2011-2010)
U19: 20 yrs & under (3-year age division, born  2008, 2009, 2010)
18+: 18 years & over 

Divisions

U8 (FUN2) age levels are considered part of Ringette Ontario's Children’s Ringette initiative.

It's goal is to promote a fun, safe and healthy environment, supports the development of physical literacy and the long-term development of all players. 

Generally, one practice or game a week. May attend tournaments at an additional cost.

B Division (Regional Level Play): Fun 3 (U10), U12, U14, U16, U19 

Generally, one practice and one game per week.

You can expect 1-3 tournaments per year at an additional cost and a Regional Championship Event.
