Levels of Play

Ringette teams are formed based on the age of the player. The teams are as follows for the 2022-2023 season:

U8 (FUN2): 8 yrs & under (born 2016 and younger)
U10: 10 yrs & under (born 2014-2015)
U12: 12 yrs & under (born 2012-2013)
U14: 14 yrs & under (born 2010-2011)
U16: 16 yrs & under (born 2008-2009)
U19: 20 yrs & under (3-year age division, born 2005-2007)
18+: 18 years & over (born before 2005)

Divisions

U8 (FUN2) age levels are considered part of Ringette Ontario's Children’s Ringette initiative.

It's goal is to promote a fun, safe and healthy environment, supports the development of physical literacy and the long-term development of all players. 

Generally, one practice or game a week. May attend tournaments at an additional cost.

B Division (Regional Level Play): Fun 3 (U10), U12, U14, U16, U19 

Generally, one practice and one game per week.

You can expect 1-3 tournaments per year at an additional cost and a Regional Championship Event.
